Dry Tortugas is America's most inaccessible national park located 70 miles west of Key West, Florida. Access to the park is limited to private boat or by taking a park service run seaplane or ferry boat. The park encompasses 100 square miles but has only 106 acres of dry land - the rest is open ocean. Dry Tortugas marks the southern end of the planet's third largest coral reef system. The remoteness of the park and lack of human impact makes Dry Tortugas home to some of the most pristine coral reefs on earth.
