North America has no lack of scenic mountain landscapes and viewing them during sunrise or sunset is always a rewarding experience. The Balsam Mountain Range of the Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina is the epitome of "America the Beautiful". Perhaps scenes such as this gave rise to "Purple Mountains Majesty".

From My Eyes to Yours - I try to capture the beauty of nature as I see it. I am primarily a landscape and wildlife photographer specializing in the Southeastern United States. My home in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina makes Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway and hundreds of area waterfalls favorite subjects. Florida and the coast of the Carolinas and Georgia are areas I continue to enjoy exploring.
