Sometimes the journey is more important than the view. Baxter Peak, Mt. Katahdin, Maine. Class III conditions October 8, 2009. This image was taken from the final step of a 6+ month, 2,178 mile journey of a lifetime.

From My Eyes to Yours - I try to capture the beauty of nature as I see it. I am primarily a landscape and wildlife photographer specializing in the Southeastern United States. My home in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina makes Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway and hundreds of area waterfalls favorite subjects. Florida and the coast of the Carolinas and Georgia are areas I continue to enjoy exploring.
