One of the most photographed trees in all of the Smokies, this lone Bur Oak stands in the field across from the Dan Lawson Homestead.

From My Eyes to Yours - I try to capture the beauty of nature as I see it. I am primarily a landscape and wildlife photographer specializing in the Southeastern United States. My home in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina makes Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway and hundreds of area waterfalls favorite subjects. Florida and the coast of the Carolinas and Georgia are areas I continue to enjoy exploring.
