About Doug McPherson
From My Eyes to Yours - I try to capture the beauty of nature as I see it. I am primarily a landscape and wildlife photographer specializing in the Southeastern United States. My home in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina makes Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway and hundreds of area waterfalls favorite subjects. Florida and the coast of the Carolinas and Georgia are areas I continue to enjoy exploring. I see a stange mixture here of serenity - (the soft pink tranquil sky background) and irratation - (the prickly branches of the driftwood in the foreground) that somehow forms an integral harmonious symfonia in nature which you captured at the right time and place.
