Imagine how many storms this live oak tree weathered over the hundreds of years it stood proud. Even as the barrier island forest around it continues to erode into the sea, this determined oak continues to stand.
Botany Bay Plantation, Charleston, South Carolina.
Taken as a King Tide coincided with a Tropical Depression off the coast. The surf and conditions on this day were quite incredible.
