What an absolutely amazing experience to witness the mating rituals between a pair of black bears in Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains National Park. For several hours a male chased a female until she treed and became trapped on a limb. For a full thirty minutes the male attempted to win her affection. She definitely made him earn it.
