Artist's Description

Long forgotten corpse of a car along the Lakeshore Trail in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, North Carolina. The town of Proctor was once a booming lumber town in the mountains of Swain County, North Carolina until the construction of Fontana Dam forced the inhabitants to be relocated. Much of the town remains although overgrown and long forgotten.

From My Eyes to Yours - I try to capture the beauty of nature as I see it. I am primarily a landscape and wildlife photographer specializing in the Southeastern United States. My home in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina makes Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway and hundreds of area waterfalls favorite subjects. Florida and the coast of the Carolinas and Georgia are areas I continue to enjoy exploring. I love spending as much time in nature as I am able and attempt through my photography to capture each scene in a way that does it justice.
